I believe my software and digital tool choices of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for this project to be technically appropriate. Photoshop was used to create a seamless blended collage displaying the baseball player in different stages and positions of him in the game. After creating that background collage, I opened and imported it into Adobe Illustrator and created a textured vertical banner for the name of the team and at the top a realistic image of a baseball and glove with a drop shadow for depth on top constructed banner that I made look like a metal trim. Along with the glove I added the year 2018 and ‘Baseball’, scripted ‘G’ and the player’s number 26. At the bottom of the card I put the name of the player in scripted typeface at an angle below the vertical banner in white, underneath is the position he plays and on the side I put the team logo sitting on top of the team name ‘Griffins Baseball’ with a flaming baseball behind the text. Lastly, on top, I added a flaming baseball that I believed added some flare to the composition.
