In this series I was tasked to utilize Adobe Photoshop and illustrator to create a magazine ad and web banner with animation. My work shows advanced working knowledge of these applications because of the bright, clean, clear resolutions of the images, readability of the text and the smooth transitions in the animation.
My primary object was to create a magazine ad that would complement their logo and attract viewers that would entice them to pay for a vacation to St. Thomas. I chose bright clear resolution images that had subtle backgrounds so the text would be readable, and I employed a clear hierarchy with title near the top. I near the top because at the top, I place the company Amethyst Bay & Resort Spa the ad was for their logo was place there. Then I chose another image to pair with the one above and placed in smaller readable text the specials that the resort was offering. I made sure my colors complemented the image that was in the background and that would offset the text that was readable provided a balance with the layout. These two pieces show excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail. I spent many hours getting the right images and putting together a design that would be aesthetically pleasing and attract viewers. Also, a web banner to complement it that had a smooth fades and exciting transitions
